Are you struggling with your transition to civilian life or found your experience of leaving the military difficult?
Join us in testing the Veteran Connection programme (VCP), a short group-based and peer-faciliated programme aimed at helping veterans with their transition to civilian life.
Help us to ensure it is fit for purpose and reflective of Veterans experiences.

Connecting Veterans
VCP (Veteran Connection Programme) is a unique short intervention targeting the specific challenges faced by many military service leavers when transitioning to civilian life: social isolation, lack of social support, and disconnectedness.
As a psychoeducational, group-based intervention that is peer-facilitated by a trained veteran together with a psychologists it is designed to reduce loneliness and improve wellbeing among veterans.

Our Mission
Supporting Veterans during their military-to-civilian transition
Our mission is to create supportive networks that foster social connection, reduce stigma around mental health, and promote smoother transitions into civilian life.

Based on decades of research on the effect of social groups on our own well-being, VCP helps military personnel leaving the forces by exploring the importance of group memberships to our own health & wellbeing and provide the skills needed to reconnect with old groups and finding new meaningful group membership - no matter where you go after leaving the service.
